Owlpen Manor and its 215 acre estate is the perfect setting for any wedding reception, providing both romance and a perfect intimacy for a day that will never be forgotten.
We take immense pride in being singularly 'un-corporate' in our attitude, dealing with your special day as a unique event that will be tailored to your own wishes.
Receptions can be held for just 20 up to 200.
The Church of the Holy Cross can be used for wedding ceremonies or by arrangement as a venue for blessings. It is an exquisitely beautiful place with wonderful mosaics and outstanding stained glass windows.
Unfortunately, the Manor itself is presently un-licensed for civil ceremonies although we can hold a host of alternative ceremonies.
The Cyder House restaurant with its gigantic oak cider press and 'cruck' trusses is a unique and extremely intimate setting and can house up to 48 guests. If required a marquee can be assembled adjacent to the restaurant for up to 100, thus allowing ample space for dining, dancing and entertainment.
Don't imagine that the Cyder house is the only place on the estate to hold your wedding reception! Owlpen is an extremely adaptable setting for any special occasion with plenty of sites for marquees and photo opportunities.
Drinks can be served in the Great Hall in the Manor House - a wonderful start to your wedding breakfast.
A much larger area - with staggeringly beautiful views of the manor and the church behind can be hired for numbers up to 200. Use of the terraced gardens is also included in the hire charge.
In addition fine dining for an intimate group of 10-12 can be arranged in the Great Hall on the eve of the wedding.
All areas are licensed and we offer a superb range of selected wines - we can also run a pay bar when required.
Ample parking is available for all your guests.

There are nine holiday cottages on the estate - these can all be exclusively hired for your wedding party.
Hire of the Cyder House restaurant including use of the Tithe Barn studio apartment for the Bride and Groom is £1250.
The Manor House plot is available for £5000 including days beforehand and afterwards for the erection of the marquee. This also includes use of the adjacent fields for parking and use of the formal gardens.
Other areas are available for hire upon request.
The additional cost of the marquee will vary according to your requirements but the average is around £2000 including lighting and marquee linings.
