Hair and Make-Up Studio

This is the hive activity on the morning of a wedding day.  Often the hubbub and excitement starts as early as 6am, when make-up artists and hair stylists come to work their magic on our amazing couples.  It is in the historic Cyder Barn at the heart of the Owlpen valley, and right down the corridor is the Apple Loft which our marital suite – you can find out more about that space by clicking the link below.

Room Details

Usually this room is full of best friends, family, mums and Dads, little babies and, of course, furry friends.

The studio has two spaces for hair and make-up, plus two sofas for sitting soft and chatting.  The coffee table in the centre often befcomes full of goodies, fizz and cards.

We are fully kitted out to cater for any emergency you might need.  We’re talking sewing kits and invisible tape, steamers and irons.  No job is too small, or too trivial, for prep the morning of a wedding.

There is artificial light from our styling mirrors, and also natural light from the skylights, so stylists can choose which light they need.  And most importantly, a little window so that you can see directly into the Cyder Barn below, as preparations for the ceremony take shape.

The room is often full of both laughter and tears on a wedding day and we love sharing it with you.  If you have any questions, please get in touch.
